Mireille Wiegman and Karin Lodder from Bureau Basalt wish to play a role in the development of professionals who are able to deal with the issues of our time. The Island of Terschelling constitutes the perfect stage to facilitate this development. Terschelling has a unique and lively history of dealing with paradoxes: nature versus people,  authenticity versus touristic development. And dealing with paradoxes is the challenge of our time.
